Opening Weekend: Christmas 2016

Give yourself and the family a treat the day after Thanksgiving. Come to the farm on Friday, November 25. It’s our Grand Opening for the 2016 Christmas Season. We open at 10:00 am and then we are open every day until December 23. Come early and find the best selection of trees, precut and cut your own.

Our historic 1790’s Colonial Stone House is decorated for the season. Stop in, warm up with a free cup of coffee and chat with the farmer’s wife.

The Christmas Shop, in the old kitchen of the farmhouse, is open for business. A large collection of antique and vintage holiday decor, from all over the world, is on display.

On weekends, Mrs. Claus is in her cottage playing with children, reading stories and listening to their Christmas dreams. We have hot chocolate and fresh-baked cookies waiting for you. In the same area is an idyllic Christmas scene with antique sleigh and reindeer set-up for perfect family photos.

Also, we are making wreaths. See how it’s done. Express your good taste and decorate your own or have us decorate one especially for you. We make flower arrangements, fabulous centerpieces, and there are 75-foot rolls of garland to decorate your entire house. New this year, we are flocking trees so that they look like they are covered in glistening snow.

The big day is just around the corner and we are ready for your visit. Our hours of operation are:

Daily: 10:00 am to 8:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
now until December 23rd

Be aware of how dark it gets early in the day. There are no lights in the fields. We want you to enjoy the experience of choosing the perfect tree so give yourself plenty of time in the fields. If you come before 3:00 PM you’ll have time for fun selecting your tree. No one is allowed in the fields after 4:00 pm.

We display our pre-cut trees in a lighted area so you can see them even when it is dark. We cut those trees from our own farm, as needed, so you are sure that they are just-harvested-fresh and they are less expensive than trees you cut yourself.
